National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research walk in interview for Junior Research Fellow

The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR) is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. NCAOR invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow under the project “Cryosphere Studies in Himalaya”. The posts are purely temporary and on a project mode, initially for a period of 1 year.

Essential Qualifications
You must have a Master Degree in Earth Sciences / Physical Sciences / Environmental Sciences from a recognized University with at least 60% marks or equivalent GPA

Desirable Experience
  • Working experience in higher Himalaya in the field of glaciological and hydrological studies.
  • You should be physically fit for field work at high altitude Himalyan glaciers
  • Experience in remote sensing studies of glaciers
