MH-CET 2014 for Health Science Courses admissions

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) has issued a notification that the Govt. of Maharashtra will conduct the MH-CET entrance examination for admissions to various health science courses for the academic year 2014-2015. The date of the exam will be notified later.

The MH-CET-2014 Common Entrance Exam is for admissions to the following courses:

• MBBS
• BDS
• BAMS
• BHMS
• BUMS
• BPTh
• BOTh
• BASLP
• BP&O
• BSc Nursing
• BPMT 

 
Features of MH-CET-2014
Syllabus 
The syllabus for MH-CET-2014 will be the same as prescribed for NEET (UG)-2013 exam. This syllabus includes topics which are from Std.11 and Std.12 levels.

Question Paper Format

• You will have to appear for a single question paper which will contain 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with 4 options, with single response type from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 
• Each question will carry 4 marks. 
• Each correct ansawer will be awarded 4 marks.
• For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the corrected total.
• Total score of the exam: 720 marks.
• Medium: The question paper will be in English, Marathi and Urdu language as per your choice.

Duration: The exam will be of 3 hours duration
