2014-2015 SOF Olympiads Schedules for schools in India

The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts workshops, seminars and science/IT competitions for students of different classes and age groups. The primary goal of this non-profit organization is to make learning in the fields of Computer, Science, Mathematics and English Education an interesting interactive process. The Olympiads conducted by SOF aims to provide a platform to test aptitude and thereby create a talent pool for the future. Registration is now open for the various SOF Olympiads to be conducted in 2014-2015.

  • National Science Olympiad (NSO): For Class 1 to Class 12
  • International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO): For Class 1 to Class 12
  • International English Olympiad (IEO): For Class 1 to Class 12

Scholarships
  1. Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS): Rs.5000/- each to 300 girls
  2. Scholarship for Excellence in English (SEE): Rs.5000/- each to 120 students
  3. Academic Excellence Scholarship (AES): Rs.5000/-scholarship and trophies to 160 students for their all-round performance
4th Teachers' Training Camp (TTC)
100 teachers are trained each year in the latest educational techniques by the experts at the British Council.

State Awards for Level One Winners
Classwise: Top 10 rank holders from each of the States/zones, who qualify for the 2nd level exam will be awarded a Certificate of Merit and a gold medal each. This will be applicable for NCO, NSO and IMO.

School Topper Awards
Medals will be awarded to toppers from each class as follows:
1.If 10 or more students from one class write an exam: gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to top 3 rank holders.
2. If between 5 to 9 students from a class write an exam: a gold medal will be awarded to the topper.
3. Participation certificates will be awarded to every student and Merit Certificates to all 2nd level participants.
4. Performance Analysis Report for each participating student will be provided
