University of Mumbai guidance course for UPSC and MPSC competitive exams
The Academy for Administrative
Careers (AAC), University of Mumbai has announced admissions open for guidance
/ coaching for competitive exams (UPSC / MPSC) preliminary exams 2016. An
entrance exam will be conducted for selection of candidates for the coaching
program, with syllabus and pattern of the exam being based on UPSC (Civil
Services Prelim exam).
About the Course
The total fee is Rs. 10,000/-, with the break-up as follows:
1. Fee for Prelims: Rs.3,000/-
2. Fee for mains: Rs. 5,000/-
Note: 50% of the mains fee is to be paid along with the Prelim for Subjects for which guidance is provided.
3. Fee for Interview: Rs. 2,000/-
Note: Those who are availing of constitutional reservation will be charged 50% fee.

About the Course
- The UPSC/MPSC coaching at AAC is a full time program of 8 months duration.
- Classes are held from Monday to Friday, 2p.m. to 5p.m. The library will be open from 10a.m. to 5p.m.
- The guidance program incorporates lectures, discussions & interaction with the faculty. Periodic tests are conducted to assess performance and appraisals are made on the basis of tests to suggest improvements in the preparation for the competitive exams. From time to time, guest lectures by eminent people from the fields of academics, administration, corporate world, etc may also be organized.

- Admission and Payment of fees: 30th September to 10th October 2015, 11a.m. to 2p.m.
How to apply
Application form can be
obtained from AAC office of the University against the cash payment of Rs. 500
or a Cross Cheque/DD of Rs. 500 only drawn in favour of "Finance & Account Officer, University of Mumbai", and to be submitted
