C-DAC Mohali career oriented courses January and February 2016

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mohali has announced the enrollment open for its unique industrial training courses, diploma courses and certificate courses. The courses are of various weeks duration, to be held in January and February 2016. The seats for each course is limited and is on first come first served basis. 

Industrial Training program
Bio-Medical Equipment Technology & Maintenance 

• Eligibility: Final year students of BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. IT/CS looking for Industrial Training.
• Duration: 6 months
• Starting date: 25.01.2016 (9.30 am - 4.30 pm)
• Fee (not-refundable): Rs.40000/- (payable in 2 equal installments)

Diploma courses
1. Diploma in Bio-Medical Equipment Technology & Maintenance  

• Eligibility: Engineering Degree or equivalent degree in Bio Medical/Electronics/Electrical / Electronics & Communications /Instrumentation / M.Sc.(Electronics)/B.Sc.(Electronics) OR Diploma in Electronics/Medical Electronics / Electrical/Instrumentation or equivalent. Final year students looking for industrial training can also apply.

• Duration: 23 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee (not-refundable): Rs.40000/- (payable in 2 equal installments)

2. Diploma in Software Technology

• Eligibility: Diploma in IT/CS, BE/BTech (IT/CS/Electronics/Electrical), BCA/MC/PGDCA/M.Sc. (IT/CS/Electronics). BE/BTech./MCA/M.Sc. Final year students looking for industrial training can also apply.
• Duration: 23 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee (not-refundable): Rs.40000/- (payable in 2 equal installments)

3. Diploma in VLSI & Embedded Systems

• Eligibility: Graduate in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics / Electronics & Communications Engineering / Computer sciences or related areas.
• Duration: 23 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee (not-refundable): Rs.40000/- (payable in 2 equal installments)

4. Diploma in Embedded Systems

• Eligibility: Graduate in Engineering or equivalent.
• Duration: 23 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee (not-refundable): Rs.40000/- (payable in 2 equal installments)

Certificate courses

1. C, C++ and Data Structures 

• Eligibility: Diploma (IT/CS), BE/B.Tech. (IT/CS) or BCA/MCA/PGDCA/M.Sc(Electronics/IT/CS).
• Duration: 3 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee: Rs.6,000/-

2. Certificate Course in System Support & Network Administration

• Eligibility: BCA/B.Sc.(IT), B.E., B.Tech.(IT/Computer Science/Elec.&Communication), MCA/MSc.(IT)
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Starting date: 25.01.2016
• Fee: Rs.18,000/-

3. Web Design & Development

• Eligibility: Graduation in any stream. Those appearing for their final exam can also apply.
• Duration: 23 weeks
• Start date:  25.01.2016
• Fee: Rs.40,000/-

4. AutoDesk Inventor Professional

• Eligibility: Eligibility: BE/Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/Industrial/Automobile Engineering. Final year students looking for industrial training can also apply.
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Starting date: 1st February 2016
• Fee: Rs.12,000/-

5. JAVA Technologies

• Eligibility: Diploma (IT/CS), BE/B.Tech. (IT/CS) or BCA/MCA/PGDCA/M.Sc.(Electronics/IT/CS)
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Starting date: 15th February 2016
• Fee: Rs.12,000/-

6. SolidWorks

• Eligibility: BE/Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial/ Automobile Engineering. Final year students looking for industrial training can also apply.
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Starting date: 29th February 2016
• Fee: Rs.8,000/-.
