Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), established by the Govt. of India, is a training institution for engineering professionals. It also offers research programs and provides research and consultancy services. CBIP has announced admissions for its placement oriented courses starting in September 2016.

1. Post Graduate Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering


Number of seats: 60 

Duration: 52 weeks having 2 semesters, with class room sessions as well as on-the-job plant training.

Eligibility requirements for both courses
Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation/Control & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication/Power  Engineering with minimum 60% marks in various examinations from 10th onwards. For non-sponsored candidates, one year experience in the field is also required.
