Chevening Scholarships and Fellowships to study in UK

Want to study abroad or enhance your professional skills in UK? Applications are now open for the 2017-2018 Chevening Scholarships for students in India and the 2016 Chevening Fellowships for mid-career professionals from India. Chevening is the UK government's global award scheme.

Chevening Scholarships 
The  Chevening Scholarships are offered to those wishing to pursue a one-year master’s programme at any UK university. Applicants can choose any course of study at any UK higher education institution. 

Application dates: 8 August 2016 – 8 November 2016
Programme dates: September 2017 – August 2018

Chevening Fellowships
The Chevening Fellowships are awarded to talented professionals. The fellowships offer financial support to mid-career professionals who are already in senior positions, active in their field and wish to increase their knowledge, improve their expertise and enhance their skills by pursuing short-term courses of 8 to 12 weeks which includes research. 

The fellowships which are offered are:

• Cyber Security Fellowship (the application dates are from 15th August to 30th September)
• Science and Innovation Leadership Fellowship (CRISP) (the application dates are from 29th August to 16th October)
• Journalism Fellowship
• Financial Services Fellowship
