NCERT Diploma in Vocational Education and Training (DVET) Admissions 2018-2019
PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Bhopal, which is a constituent unit of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, invites applications for admission to the Diploma in Vocational Education and Training (DVET) for the academic session 2018-19.
About DVET Program
The DVET program at the Pandit Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) is of one year duration. There are 8 compulsory papers and 2 elective papers. A student / trainee would also be required to complete internship and project work. There will be industrial training in the form of an internship program and project work alongside online assignments and practical sessions, group work, etc.
There are totally 40 seats, with 10% seats are reserved for students outside India. English is the medium of instruction. You must have a minimum attendance of 75% for classroom courses and Practicum and 90% for field attachment.
Those who successfully complete the program will be awarded a certificate, this being awarded by NCERT, New Delhi.
Eligibility requirements
1. Essential: Bachelor ’s Degree/Diploma in any discipline from University/Institutions recognized by UGC/AICTE.
2. Desirable: One year working experience in an Institution/Industry.
Program Fees
1. For Candidates from India: Rs. 10,000/-.
2. For Candidates outside India: US$ 600.
3. Boarding and lodging facility will be arranged on first come first served basis. Payment is to be done in advance. The Hostel Fee is Rs. 1,200/- per month and the Mess Fee is Rs. 5,000/- per month.
How to apply

2. Submit the completed application form along with the DD for Rs 500/- (this is the application fee). The DD should be taken from a Nationalized Bank in favour of Joint Director, PSSCIVE, Bhopal.
