Biotech Park employability certificate course for science, pharmacy & biotech graduates

Biotech Park, Lucknow, established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India & Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of U.P. invites applications from eligible candidates for its unique Finishing School certificate course (batch VII) which aims to enhance employment potential in the academic and industrial fields. Applications should be submitted by 20th June, 2015.

Course features
Duration
6 months, out of which 2 months are class room lectures and 4 months are focused on hands-on training.

Training
During the training, you will have to work on a project which will lead to your dissertation. The specialized training, whenever required, will be for about 3 to 5 days at centers & industries, such as SGPGI, CDRI, NBRI, NBFGR, etc.

Evaluation
Your dissertation report will be evaluated by experts from outside and you will have to appear for an exam at the end of the training.

Subject options
You can select any one subject of the following:
1. Bioinformatics & Rational Drug Design.
2. Molecular Biology: Tools and Techniques.
3. Microbiology: Product Development and Bioprocessing.
4. Nutraceuticals and cosmaceuticals.
5. Plant Tissue Culture and Micro & Macro-Propagation.
6. Food Biotechnology: Bio-process & Quality analysis
7. Pharmaceuticals: quality control and formulation.
8. Environmental monitoring & bio-remediation.
9. Quality control of biotech products.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech. in Biosciences, B.Pharma/M.Pharma/M.B.B.S.
