Every year, the Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships are offered to those who have an outstanding academic record to pursue their doctoral degrees in Science & Technology (especially Aerospace Engineering and Energy Studies), Economics and Social Sciences from the world renowned University of Cambridge, UK at St. John's College. Applications are open for the 2013 Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarships. Last date for submitting your application is December 31st 2012.

A sibling of Mayo College, the Mayo College Girls' School (MCGS) in Ajmer is a residential boarding school for girls from Class IV to Class XII. Founded in 1988, the educational curriculum is as per the ICSE and ISC Boards. The academic year is from April to March with the summer vacations from May 3rd to 9th July and the winter vacations from December 1st to 10th January.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) will be holding the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for MBA & allied programs of various business schools in  Februrary 2013. Candidates can appear for MAT as a paper based test on 3 rd February 2013 or as computer based test from 9 th February 2013.

The full form of IB is International Baccalaureate. The International Baccalaureate Organization, which is based in Geneva, Switzerland, offers 4 programs for students aged 3 to 19 years. More than 100 countries including India offer the IB programs.

An individual who is an Indian national can apply for an SBI educational loan. You can apply for pursuing a higher educational program in India as well as for pursuing a higher educational program in a foreign country. Female students can avail of concessions.

The full form of IGCSE is International General Certificate of Secondary Education. IGCSE exams in India are conducted in accordance with the policies of the Cambridge International Examinations Board, U.K. A school could offer the IGCSE curriculum right from the early years to the higher secondary education level. The school can offer a vast combination of subjects, selecting from the 70+ subjects offered by the Board. These subjects also include language courses. Each of the subjects is certified separately.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts exams for students at the end of Class X and XII .

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts the Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE) exams in India for Std. XII students. The CVE exams are conducted in the English medium only. Students can appear for the ISC exam on successfully completing the 2 year course of studies after having appeared for & passed the ICSE Std. X exam or its equivalent. Private candidates are not allowed to appear for the ICSE exams in India.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts the Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams in India for Std. XII students. The ISC exams are conducted in the English medium only. Students can appear for the ISC exam on successfully completing the 2 year course of studies after having appeared for & passed the ICSE Std. X exam or its equivalent.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams in India for Std. X students. The ICSE exams are conducted in the English medium only. Private candidates are not allowed to appear for the ICSE exams in India.
