How to join Government Trade Apprenticeship Scheme at RRCAT Indore
The Department
of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India issued a notification of a Trade Apprenticeship Scheme at Raja
Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, Madhya Pradesh (TASAR). This scheme is a part of the
National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
About TASAR
Of one year’s duration, totally 70 apprentices will be inducted into the scheme, as follows-
Eligibility requirements
Firstly, you must be registered on NAPS portal www.apprenticeship.gov.in. Secondly, your date of birth should be between 1st April 1998 and 31st March 2002. Thirdly, you should have passed the Class 10 Board exam prior to taking admission in an ITI and secured a minimum of 50% in aggregate in that exam. Fourthly, you must have a valid ITI certificate in the respective trade for which you are applying. If you have passed ITI in 2017 or before, then you are not eligible to apply.

- Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic/ Mechanic Industrial Electronics/ Mechanic Power Electronics: 16 apprentices.
- Machinist: Two apprentices.
- Turner: Two apprentices.
- Mechanical Draughtsman: Six apprentices
- Civil Draughtsman: One apprentice
- Gas and electric Welder: Two apprentices
- Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning: Three apprentices
- Surveyor: Two apprentices
- Plumber: Three apprentices
- Carpenter: Two apprentices
- Mason: One apprentice
- Electrician: Six apprentices
- Electroplater: Two apprentices
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant: Two apprentices
- Food Production (Vegetarian): Two apprentices

How to apply for TASAR
After registration, log in and complete the application form with the required details, and upload these documents in JPG/PDF format of size 300KB:

- The certificate showing the Date of Birth certificate or 10th class passing certificate
- The 10th class mark-sheet in “Academic Qualification”
- The ITI certificate to support having the relevant ‘Technical Qualification’
- Photograph
- Aadhaar card
- Signature
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
Important
notes: Scan the original documents to ensure clarity and then upload them, as
photocopies are not necessarily clear. Also, ensure that the name and date of birth is entered exactly the same as it is
in the Secondary School Certificate/10th Standard Certificate. You will also be
required to submit a police
verification certificate of the address mentioned on your Aadhaar card.
Important dates- Last date: 28th February 2020.
- Merit list: 6th March 2020.
- Confirmation to be given for joining the apprenticeship program: 11th March 2020.
- Final merit list: 17th March 2020.
- Reporting personally for document verification: 23rd March 2020, 10 a.m.
- Medical exam: 23rd March to 31st March 2020.
- Reporting and joining the apprenticeship program at RRCAT: 1st April 2020.
