UP NEET PG-2021 MOP-UP Round Time Schedule for Medical Courses Admissions

The Office of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh has released the time schedule for the Mop-Up Round of UP NEET PG-2021 for admission to postgraduate courses, namely MD, MS, Diploma and DNB courses. The Mop-up rounds will be conducted up to the availability of the seats.

Who can register

1. Only those candidates are eligible for the mop-up round who have not been allotted any seats in the first and second round of UP NEET PG-2021 Counselling. 

2. Those candidates who have been allotted/admitted/not joined/resigned from UP NEET PG-2021 first and second rounds of counselling will not be eligible for the mop-up round.

3. Those candidates who have been already admitted in any medical college/institute/university in India through NEET PG-2021  will not be eligible for the mop-up round.

Where admission is open

Through the Mop-Up round, admission is available to-

  • Government Medical Colleges, institutions, and universities
  • Private Medical Colleges, institutions, and universities

Postgraduate courses for which admission is available are-

  • PG MD Courses
  • PG MS Courses
  • PG Diploma Courses
  • PG DNB Courses

Key dates of UP NEET PG-2021 MOP-UP Round 

1. Online registration for MD, MS, Diploma courses: 26th March 2022 from 2 p.m., up to 29th March 2022 till 2 p.m.

2. Online registration for DNB courses: 26th March 2022 from 2 p.m., up to 29th March 2022 till 2 p.m.

3. Date of declaration of the Merit List of MD, MS, Diploma, and DNB courses: 30th March 2022.

4. Date of Allotment in Govt. Medical Colleges for MD, MS, and Diploma courses: 5th April 2022.

5. Date of Allotment in Govt. Medical Colleges and Hospitals for DNB courses: 6th April 2022.

6. Date of Allotment in Private Medical Colleges for MD, MS, Diploma courses: 7th April 2022 to 8th April 2022.

7. Admission Date: On the Spot.

How to register

Candidates are required to register for the mop-up round by depositing Rs.2000/- online through Net Banking or with Debit Card or with a Credit Card on the official website https://upneet.gov.in/

Note that a separate registration should be done for MD/MS/Diploma and DNB courses.

Venue of Mop-up Round: Kalam Center, KGMU Lucknow

Reporting time: 11 a.m. on 5th April 2022 and at 10 a.m. on the other dates. 

Important notes

Candidates should have a Bank Dd of Rs.30,000/- for Govt. seats (MD/MS/Diploma) and Rs.2,00.000/- for private medical college seats (MD/MS) in favour of Director General Medical Education & Training U.P. payable at Lucknow as a security fee (only CTS Bank DD will be accepted).

Those candidates who have already submitted their security fee Dd in the first and second round of counselling are not required to deposit the fee again.

Candidates must submit all certificates in original as well as one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents at the time of verification. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to participate in the mop-up round.

Candidates who are keen to get clinical seats in private medical colleges can prepare the DD in advance for the Tuition Fee amount of Rs. 20.00 lakhs and for Pathology seat DD of Rs. 8.00 lakhs in favour of the Director General Medical Education & Training U.P. payable at Lucknow, at the time of admission (only CTS Bank DD will be accepted).

Candidates must pay the CTS DD for security fees, hostel fees, and other fees in favour of the Director General Medical Education & Training U.P. payable at Lucknow, at the time of admission.

After allotment, candidates are required to deposit the difference of Tuition fee amount online to the in favour of the Director General Medical Education & Training U.P.
