Opportunities for Graduates and Postgraduates at National Testing Agency

The administrative division of the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India invites applications from graduates and postgraduates in specific fields, preferably with work experience to take up work as Young Professionals. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. There are 20 openings, with the appointments on a contractual basis for one year (this could be less or extended). You will be working on exam-related, finance-related, or HR-related activities at the NTA Headquarters in New Delhi, but may also have to take up work at a regional office when required to do so. The consolidated monthly remuneration with statutory tax deductions as applicable is Rs.60,000/-.

Eligibility Requirements

Age criterion: The age limit is 40 years as of the closing date of the application.

Academic Qualifications: You should have a B.E/ B.Tech./M.Tech./MSc (Computer Science) or MCA/MBA/LLB/LLM, with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade from a Government-recognized institute or university.

Work Experience: It is desirable to have at least two years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in Govt./State Govt./CPSE/Autonomous Body/University/Research Institution. However, a Ph.D. or research/Fellowship/Internship will not be considered as part of the work experience.

Application Procedure

Applications should be submitted in online mode only at https://cbtc.nta.ac.in/ypro.

Submit the pdf file of the duly-filled application form along with requisite annexures by email under the subject "Application for the Young Professional at NTA" to First Floor, NSIC-MDBP Building, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi-110020 latest by 31st December 2024.

Applications received after the closing date/by hand/by post will not be accepted under any circumstances

If you are shortlisted for the interview round, you have to bring the printout of the submitted application form along with self-attested copies of relevant documents (certificates, mark sheets, etc), two latest passport-size photos, and documents to support work experience if any.

Important note: It is advisable to mention all qualifications and experience, and provide the relevant supporting documents, over and above the minimum qualifications in the application form.
