NCHM JEE 2015 for B.Sc. Hotel Management and Hotel Administration program

The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be conducting the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admission to the 2015 B.Sc. Hotel Management and Hotel Administration degree program (both generic and specialisation). The last date to apply is 6th April, 2015.

The Bachelor of Science program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a 3 years, 6 semester full time course offered jointly by NCHMCT and IGNOU.

• Second semester: INR33,750
• Third semester: INR39,000
• Fourth semester: INR34,500
• Fifth semester: INR43,750
• Sixth semester: INR39,250

Eligibility requirements
1. Educational qualifications

• You must have a pass class in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. 
• You must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying exam.
• If you are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination too you can appear in JEE 2015 on a provisional basis. The provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30-09-2015.
• At the time of counselling/admission, you should be able to produce original certificates/documents, otherwise your admission will stand cancelled.

2. Age criteria

• General and OBC category candidates: upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2015. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1993 are eligible. 
• Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2015. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1990 are eligible. 
• Physically Challenged candidates: the upper age limit will be as per the category, namely General/SC/ST/OBC. 

Note: You will need to produce in original the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate as a proof of age, failing which you will not be considered for counselling/admission.

Application fees 

• The application fee is for the cost of the application form and the prospectus
• Online: Rs.800/- for General and OBC category candidates/ Rs.400 for SC/ST/PD categories.
• Offline: Rs.900/- for General and OBC category candidates/ Rs.450 for SC/ST/PD categories.

Where to get prospectus and application form: These are available at all the affiliated IHMs and FCIs in India. The application form can also be obtained from the NCHMCT office (address given below) either in person or by sending a Dd in favour of 'NCHMCT' for the cost of form+Rs.50/- (postage charge).
