TISS Bachelor Admission Test (BAT) 2016 paper format

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will be conducting the entrance test, namely the Bachelor Admission Test (BAT) 2016, on 14th May 2016 between 11a.m. to 1p.m. for admissions to its Bachelor Degree programs. Format of TISS BAT-2016
Students have to appear for both parts of the written test and qualify in both. 
Part A
1. Marks: 60
2. Time given: 60 minutes
3. Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
4. Topics covered: 
  • Current affairs
  • Social awareness 
  • Logical and analytical reasoning
Part B
1. Marks: 40
2. Time given: 30 minutes
3. Type of test: Descriptive questions 

For model sample questions: A demo version of the test and a model question will be available at www.campus.tiss.edu  1 month before the date of the entrance test.

After the test
The scores of the candidates will be tallied and a merit list will be prepared of short-listed candidates. These candidates will have to attend a personal interview at the TISS Tuljapur campus. The address of the campus is: Apsinga Road, Tuljapur, Osmanabad District - 413601, Maharastra.

The interview dates are: 10th to 12th June 2016. 

Marks of personal interview: 50

Scores of the written test + interview marks will be totalled to select the eligible students for admissions to the programs.
