National Skill Training Institute for Women Mumbai CST courses admissions 2019

Are you looking for courses in Mumbai for women which equip you with training skills for getting a job? National Skill Training Institute for Women, Dadar, Mumbai, which is under DGT, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India, has announced admissions open for NCVT-approved long-term Craftsmanship Skill Training (CST) courses for Class X-passed courses beginning in July/August 2019. For all the courses, the minimum age is 15 years.

Admission to the courses is on a merit basis. Seats are reserved for SC, ST, Physically handicapped, wards/widows of Defence Personnel as per Govt. norms. 
List of courses and eligibility criteria 
Internet of Things (Smart City): One year course with 24 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education having studied Science and Mathematics.
Smart Phone Technician-cum-App Tester: Six months course with 24 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education. 
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant: One year course with 48 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education. 
Dress Making: One year course with 20 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education. 
Basic Cosmetology: One year course with 24 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education. 
Architectural Draughtsmanship: Two-year course with 24 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education having studied Science and Mathematics. 
Electronics Mechanic: Two-year course with 24 seats. Minimum Qualification: passed 10th class under 10+2 system of education having studied Science and Mathematics.




Course Fees 
A nominal fee of Rs.150/- will be charged for long-term courses. Rs. 50/- will be charged for SC/ST/PH candidates.
