Shipping Corporation of India Maritime Training Institute Mumbai training course for ETO Cadets

The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI) has announced the notification for the selection of Electro-Technical Officers (ETOs). The selection is for ETO cadets for the October 2021 batch. Accordingly, interested candidates should apply first for admission to the institute for the pre-sea training course that will start in October this year.  

About the Course

The pre-sea training course is of four months' duration. It will be followed by a six-month Structured Shipboard Training Program (SSTP) as an Electro-Technical Officer Cadet under the guidelines of the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS).

Admission details

Interested candidates have to submit an online application for the course. The online application submissions will start on 26th July 2021 at 1100hrs. and must be completed by 21st August 2021 at 2350hrs. 

In order to be eligible for the course, eligible candidates should qualify in an online exam, which will be followed by personal interviews and a medical fitness test.
