TCS iON Career Edge Young Professional free online course

TCS iON is an online platform hosted by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) that offers a wide variety of solutions for learning and recruiting with a major focus on skills that would help individuals, especially the youth, to get a job in the current competitive scenario where technology plays a key role. The learning modules that are offered by TCS iON, though, are not only incorporating technological skills but also the essential skills of understanding financial aspects, drafting communications that adhere to business etiquette, etc. Registrations are currently open for the TCS iON Career Edge - Young Professional free online course that will cover all these - and more - aspects.

About TCS iON Career Edge - Young Professional course

The entire course is online, including assessments, and is delivered in Engish only. There are absolutely no prerequisites to be eligible for the course and you could be at any academic level to register; nor do you need to have any work experience. The lessons include case studies and instructional videos, and a moderated digital discussion room will be available for you to put up your queries that will be answered by a moderator.

There are a total of 14 learning modules which is approximately for the duration of two weeks, and you can complete the course at your own pace, with the end date up to when the modules are available being specified. Access to each of the modules will be on a day-to-day basis, that is, on completing the first module on the first day, you can then move on to the next module on the second day, and so on. At the end of each module, except for a few, you will have to undertake an assessment test and there will be a final assessment at the very end of the course. It is mandatory to appear for all these tests, without which you will not receive the course completion certificate that is awarded at the end of the course.

What you will learn

The course includes learning effective comminication skills, both written and verbal, making effective presentations, tips to launch your career, preparing a good resume along with a covering letter, basic business etiquette, accounting concepts, basic IT skills, understanding Artificial Intelligence (AI), etc.
