Govt. of Rajasthan Young Interns Program (YIP) 2023 with stipend

The Government of Rajasthan is recruiting postgraduates (graduates in certain streams can also apply) for the Young Interns Program (YIP) 2023. Although for some districts the applications have already closed, interested candidates can apply for those that are still accepting applications. Applicants must have their own Laptop and data card/internet facility service. The internship is of one year, but, based on performance, the internship may be extended for further periods of 6 months, but not beyond a maximum of 2 years. An internship completion certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the internship program.

Interns will be given guidance by the District Collector for the District and the Divisional Commissioner for Divisional Head Quarters. The mentor may nominate a Nodal Officer for the program in that District/Divisional HQ who will monitor the intern's work, and a supervisor may also be nominated by the mentor if required for additional support and guidance to the intern.

Stipend

A selected intern will be paid Rs. 30,000/- per month, and Rs. 2500/- will be paid to each intern per month towards laptop connectivity and data card/internet facility.

Eligibility requirements

Academic Qualifications: You should be a Postgraduate with min. 60% marks in the qualifying exam or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10 in any stream from a recognized university. Although postgraduates will be given preference, you are eligible to apply if you are a Graduate in the streams of engineering, medicine, and law and CA/CS from a recognized University with min. 60% marks or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10.

Age criterion: Your age should be between 21 yrs. to 30 yrs.

Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, presentation skills, intra–personal skills, and soft skills. You should be able to read, speak, write, and understand English and Hindi. It is also essential to be well-versed in ICT skills with knowledge of MS Office and other similar programs on alternative platforms. 

Other requirements: There may be additional educational qualifications or technical skills and experience criteria required by the concerned District Collector/Divisional HQ.

YIP Internship Certificate

To receive the internship completion certificate, you must submit a report to the Nodal Officer or the Supervisor as the case may be, the report is then evaluated for quality and utility by the supervisor. The final report should then be received from the incumbent district/divisional HQ, duly approved by the mentor.

1. For District Sirohi applications will close on 19th May 2023 at 11.59 p.m.
