Catering College Dadar Mumbai 2024 Summer Vacation Cakes and More Hobby Courses

The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (HMCTAN), Mumbai, well-known as just Catering College Dadar, is conducting four exciting hobby courses this summer. Whether you love cakes, brownies, macroons, desserts or all of them, you can learn the basics and have a fun time! The icing on the cake (by the way you can learn about cake-icing too) is that all are for a short duration of five days, and if you enroll for all the courses, the fees will be at a discount.

Who can apply

There is no age bar. You should have cleared the Class 12th exam (10+2) or equivalent.

What is required

You will be provided an apron and a cap for which you need to pay Rs. 200/-, and you will be required to bring certain tools, such as measuring spoons, a piping bag, specific types of knives and nozzles, etc. You can refer to the official brochure to know the full list of these tools.

Cake Icing and Decoration

Date: 27th May to 31st May 2024 (Monday to Friday)

Time: 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Course fee: Rs. 15,000/- per person.

Plated Desserts

Date: 3rd June to 7th June 2024 (Monday to Friday)

Time: 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Course fee: Rs. 10,000/- per person.

4. Coffee Mousse

5. Tiramisu

6. Caramel Custard

7. Rasmalai Tres Leches

8. Banoffee Parfait

Cheese Case and Brownie

Date: 10th June to 14th June 2024 (Monday to Friday)

Time: 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Course fee: Rs. 10,000/- per person.

Time: 2 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.

Course fee: Rs. 10,000/- per person.

How to apply

Download the brochure and application form, and submit the completed form at the institute by post or by hand. The course fee can be paid with a Demand Draft or through Internet Banking.
