SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce Nerul Bachelor of Management Studies Admissions 2024-25

SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nerul, Navi Mumbai has issued the admission notification for the first year of the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) full-time undergraduate course for the academic year 2024-25. Interested students should submit their online applications within 15 days. The college is a private self-financed autonomous institute affiliated with the University of Mumbai, approved by the AICTE, Directorate of Technical Education, and the Govt. of Maharashtra. 

Note that students keen to pursue the BMS course must register in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Course Duration: The Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a full-time course of three years (six semesters).

Course Syllabus for the first year: Principles of Management and Introduction to Financial Accounting are the two main subjects in the first semester, and Foundation of Human Skills and Principles of Marketing in the second year. The course also includes Open Electives (OEs), Skill Enhancement Courses (SECs), and a Vocational Skill Course (VSC). Students can also enroll for co-curricular courses in Sports, Cultural Activities, NSS, etc. Refer to the official college prospectus that is available on the college portal to know the detailed syllabus of the entire BMS course.

BMS Eligibility Requirements

You should have passed the Class 12 exam of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam in one sitting. Also acceptable is a Diploma in any Engineering branch which is of two, three, or four years duration after the Class 10 (SSC) exam conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent exam. You should have obtained a minimum of 45 % marks if applying for admission in the general category and a minimum of 40 % marks if applying for admission in the category of Backward Class candidates.

You are also required to clear the  AICTE MH-CET Entrance Exam.

Application procedure

It is mandatory to register at https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ and select the SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce Nerul as the first preference (03603 is the college code).

The online application form for the First Year Bachelor of Management Studies (Institute level seats) on payment of Rs. 100/- will be available on the college website https://www.siesascn.edu.in/

You have to apply in the appropriate category for admission, namely, (i) Minority A - Tamil Linguistic; or (ii) Minority B - Other Linguistic Minority (Malayalam, Telugu, Tulu, Kannada, and Konkani from Mangalore only); or (iii) Open Category.

Admission Procedure Schedule

The form should be completed and submitted within 15 days of the date of the admission advertisement (date 27th September 2024). The schedule and other details of the admission procedure will be displayed on the college notice board and the college website.

Important Note: Once your name is allotted by MHCET/DTE,  you are required to submit the originals of all the documents as per the MH-CET Schedule. Admission will be confirmed only if your name is allotted to the SIES College Nerul by the Director of Technical Education through their MHCET Merit List.
