CVE exams information India
The Council for the Indian School
Certificate Examination (CISCE) conducts the Certificate in Vocational
Education (CVE) exams in India
for Std. XII students. The CVE exams are conducted in the English medium only.
Students can appear for the ISC exam on successfully completing the 2 year course of studies after having
appeared for & passed the ICSE Std. X exam or its equivalent. Private candidates are not allowed to appear for the ICSE exams in India.
When initiating the format of the CVE exam, the CISCE took into
consideration the recommendations made by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD) through the Joint Council of Vocational Education (JCVE). The
CVE exam aims to prepare a candidate to pursue a specific type of career or
take up a livelihood.
