When initiating the format of the CVE exam, the CISCE took into consideration the recommendations made by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) through the Joint Council of Vocational Education (JCVE). The CVE exam aims to prepare a candidate to pursue a specific type of career or take up a livelihood.
