Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) commercial pilot license course entrance exam 2013

Located in Uttar Pradesh, the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) is an autonomous body under the control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), Govt. of India. It is an integral part of CAE Oxford Aviation Academy and has a Management Contract with Global Aviation Giant - CAE, Canada. DGCA has provided approval to IGRUA to conduct Refresher courses for Chief Flying Instructors/Pilot Instructor In-charge of all flying clubs. The IGRUA is a fully residential campus with hostel accommodation for both boys and girls.

IGRUA invites applications from eligible candidates for the Commercial Pilot License Course Entrance exam 2013-II which is scheduled for 17th November 2013.

The Course

IGRUA offers Ab-initio to CPL Course for issue of CPL with multi-engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. The shortlisted candidates will be inducted as per Final Merit in batches every three months starting March 2014.

Duration: 18 months, which may be extended

Eligibility Requirements 

1. Age limit: 17 years at the time of joining

2. Educational Qualifications

(1) For General Candidates:You should have passed English at 10+2 level with a minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

(2) For SC / ST / OBC Candidates: You should have passed English at 10+2 level with a minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths &Physics

3. Medical: The selected candidates will have to submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate before joining. List of centers for medical exam: http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/c1exam-ind.htm

Fees: 

• Rs. 32.5 Lacs + Applicable Taxes (12.36% at present) payable in four quarterly installments.

• Additional expenditure for about  Rs. 1 Lac towards cost of  Uniform, Study Material, Navigation Computer, Head Phones, DGCA Examination and License fee
