NISER recruitment of Assistant Professor and Reader

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar invites applications from Indian citizens to take up faculty positions in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in the discipline of Economics. Applications should be submitted by 1^st May, 2015.

Established by the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar offers undergraduate and post graduate educational programs in the basic sciences combined with research.

Faculty positions

1. Assistant Professor        

• Educational qualification: Ph.D. degree in Economics from a reputed and recognized University or institute with a very good academic record.
• Experience: At least 3 years of postdoctoral research/teaching experience after Ph.D. with high quality publications.
• Desirable: You should have and interest in & ability to teach courses in the integrated M.Sc. program and in the Ph.D. program.

2. Reader-F

• Educational qualification: Ph.D. degree in Economics from a reputed and recognized University or institute with a very good academic record.
• Experience: At least 5 years of postdoctoral research/teaching experience with high quality publications. Candidates should have demonstrated the capability to lead independent research programs.
• Desirable: You should have an interest in & ability to teach courses in integrated M.Sc. program and in the Ph.D. program + some experience in supervising graduate & undergraduate students.
