Glocal Healthcare-George Washington University PG Fellowship in Acute Care Medicine
The Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine (RRIEM) at George Washington University, USA in collaboration with Glocal Healthcare Systems Pvt Ltd, India is inviting applications from eligible students for the first ever PG Fellowship in Acute Care Medicine (FACM) with annual stipend. The program's first module begins in July 2016 and the last one will be in June 2018.
About FACM program
The PG Fellowship in Acute Care Medicine (FACM) is a full time, on-campus residential program.
1. Duration: 2 years (July 2016 to June 2018), with 24 modules.
2. Optional: 1 month of rotation at RRIED, USA, GWU and 1 month UK rotation, with MRCEM [UK] orientation training & exam.
3. Training includes: 6 days of classes every month from US visiting faculties and 6 days expert faculties from institutions across India.
4. You have the option to pursue further learning in Critical Care &/or Emergency Medicine, that is, an optional elective of an additional 1 year leading to a Master's certification.
5. Both online and onsite teaching is available. Extensive web based learning includes weekly webinars, online lectures from UK, USA, Singapore & centres of excellence across the world. Skill Learning is onsite skill laboratory from experts.
6. Focused training for MRCEM exam (UK), which is a MCI recognized PG degree.
7. Stipend: INR35,000p.m. for the first year and INR40,000p.m. for the second year.
8. Placement assistance will be provided for both national and overseas positions, with Glocal Healthcare itself requiring to hire more than 50% of the Fellows who successfully complete the program.
Eligibility requirements
You should be MBBS qualified to sit for the entrance exam for the program.
