Maharashtra CET 2016 for Hotel Management & Catering Tech. Degree course

The Govt. of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell has issued the notification for MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016 for gaining admission to the first year of the 4-year full time degree course in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (B.HMCT) for the academic year 2016=2017. The last date for online registration is 9^th May 2016.

About MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016

This entrance exam is a common entrance test (CET) for students aspiring to the first year of the four year full time degree course in hotel management and catering technology in the government aided and unaided institutes in the State of Maharashtra.

Eligibility criteria for MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016

• You should be an Indian national.
• You should have passed HSC or its equivalent exam with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for backward class category and persons with disabilities candidates of Maharashtra State only).
• If you are appearing for the qualifying exam, then also you are eligible to apply for CET.

How to register for MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016

1. Register and confirm the online application form at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/hmct2016

note that no documents are required at the time of the online registration. You will need the documents at the time of document verification as per the schedule.

2. Pay the application form processing fees (refer to the details given below) through the online system only via Internet payment, credit card / debit card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobilewallets for which the service charges would be applicable in addition to the processing fees.

Note: (i) The processing fees paid is non-refundable. (ii) No other mode of payment will be permitted. (iii) Applications sent by post / courier etc will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be made.

Processing fees

Rs. 700/- for all candidates from outside Maharashtra State (OMS candidates), open category candidates from Maharashtra State and J&K migrant candidates.

Rs. 500/- for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State of backward class categories [SC, ST VJDT NT (A), NT (B), NT (C), NT (D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability candidates.

Important dates

• Online registration for MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016: 2^nd May 2016 to 9^th May 2016
• Issue of hall ticket through login of successfully registered candidates: 16^th May 2016 onwards.
• Date of online MAH-B.HMCT-CET 2016: 22^nd May 2016
• Results to be declared at official website: up to 5^th June 2016
