Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong invites applications from eligible candidates to fill up the positions of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. Retired Professors are also welcome to apply for taking up visiting faculty posts on contract basis. Applications should be submitted online by 31st May 2016.

4. For the various above-mentioned areas: Retired Professors up to 70 years of age from IIMs, IITs Department of Industrial Engineering or School of Management NITIE and FMS can also apply. You will be appointed on contract basis as Visiting Faculty.

Eligibility requirements
1. For the position of Professor
- Educational qualification: Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: minimum 10 years experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs.
2. For the position of Associate Professor
- Educational qualification: Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
3. For the position of Assistant Professor
- Educational qualification: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
- Experience: minimum 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience (exclusive period of doing Ph.D.)
4. For the various above-mentioned areas: Retired Professors up to 70 years of age from IIMs, IITs Department of Industrial Engineering or School of Management NITIE and FMS can also apply. You will be appointed on contract basis as Visiting Faculty.
