Indian Institute of Foreign Trade MBA International Business 2021-2023 Program Entrance Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the notification for the computer based entrance test for admission to the 2021-2023 MBA International Business management course at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi and Kolkata campuses, India. NRIs and foreign nationals are also welcome to seek admission to the course through GMAT. IIFT is a Deemed to be University under the aegis of the Department of Commerce, Govt. of India.

About IIFT MBA (IB) program

The residential program is of six trimesters and provides not just an insight into the  fundamental concepts of management, but also helps to develop analytical and decision skills, deal effectively with challenges in a business environment and provide career opportunities in the field of international business. There are both core and elective courses. 

IIFT (MBA) Program fee

The tuition fee and other expenses will be informed to the selected candidates when offer letters are sent to them. Scholarship schemes are available. To get a general idea, the annual fee for the MBA (IB) batch 2020-22 was Rs.8,85,000/- (paid in three installments) with other charges of Rs.32,500/- for the first year and Rs.22,500 in the second year for computer facility, internet, library, alumni charges and IMF (student body). 

Eligibility requirements for IIFT MBA (IB) program

1. Age criteria: No age limit.

2. Academic Qualifications: You must have a recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum three years' duration in any discipline, having scored at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. A minimum 45% is acceptable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories. Those who are currently appearing for a qualifying exam are also eligible to apply, provided they are able to submit the relevant proof of the qualification by the beginning of October of the year of start of the course. 

Note: For NRIs, children of NRIs and foreign nationals, the admission is through the General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) and an interview. The GMAT result should not have been declared before 1st January, 2019 and should be received by the Institute latest by 15th March 2021. Last date to submit the application fee for these candidates is 15th March 2021.

Admission Schedule

Last date for receipt of application: 20th December 2020.

Last date for receipt of application for NRI/FN/CNRI: 15th March 2021.

Computer Based Entrance Examination: 24th January 2021, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Commencement of MBA (IB) program: Last week of July.

Application fee

For General/OBC candidates: Rs.2,500/-.

For SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs.1,000/-.

For Foreign Nationals/NRIs: US$ 200 / Rs.15,000/-.
