NIFTEM online spot counselling for B.Tech. 2020-21 admissions vacant seats

Missed out on getting admission to B.Tech. Food Technology and Management courses at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Haryana? The institute has announced the schedule for the online spot counselling for the balance seats leftover after JOSAA/CSA-2020 admission. Applications for these seats will be accepted up to 7th December 2020.

Eligibility requirements

1. You should have passed the Class 12 exam or any other qualifying exam in 2020 or 2019.

2. JEE (Main)-2020 appeared candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam with an aggregate of at least 60% marks can also apply. The qualifying aggregate is 50% marks in the case of OBCNCL/SC/ST/PWD category candidates.

Application fee

There is no initial application fee. However, if you are shortlisted for admission and are offered a seat, then you are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1000/ at the time of reporting and submitting the semester fee for confirmation of the seat.

NIFTEM B.Tech. Semester fee

1. For GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates: Rs.99,100/-.

2. For SC/ST/Divyang candidates: Rs.58, 950/-.

Note: The above fee excludes hostel accommodation fees and other charges. The fee has to be paid in full and not partially, otherwise the admission will not be given. A waiver in the tuition fee is available for students of the economically weaker section as per NIFTEM rules, for which they can apply on completion of the admission process for the academic session 2020-21.

Selection procedure

A merit list will be prepared based solely on the All India Rank (CRL rank) of JEE (Main)-2020 of the eligible applicants, along with the reservation guidelines of the Central Government. The online spot counselling procedure and admission rules will then be followed as per norms.
