MET Institute of Pharmacy 2022-23 admissions open for institutional quota and vacant seats

Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) Institute of Pharmacy is a Directorate of Technical Education (DTE)-recognized institution offering a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) course that is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The Degree course, as well as the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) course is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The institute has announced admissions open for seats under the institutional quota and vacant seats, if any, after the Common Admission Process (CAP) of the B.Pharm. course for the academic year 2022-23. Direct admission is also open for the second year B.Pharm., after B.Pharm. as per availability of vacant seats afte CAP.

Number of seats

The total number of seats is 60, and 12 seats are under the institutional quota.

B.Pharm Eligibility requirements

Only Indian nationals can apply for admission to the course. Academic criteria for applicants from the State of Maharashtra are as follows-

1. You should have passed the Class 12 H.S.C. exam or its equivalent exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with either Mathematics or Biology, that is PCM or PCB. You should have scored a minimum of 45% marks. The minimum qualifying marks is 40% marks for applicants of the Backward Class category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, and Persons with Disability (PwD) category belonging to the State of Maharashtra in the afore-mentioned subjects taken together.

2. You should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain a non-zero score in the MHT-Common Entrance Test (CET) 2022 that has been conducted by the competent authority.

Academic criteria for applicants from the other States of India are -

1. Same as mentioned in #1 above.

2. You should have obtained a non-zero positive score on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) or have appeared in all the subjects in the CET and obtained a non-zero score in the Common Entrance Test (CET) that has been conducted by the competent authority. Note that those who obtained a non-zero positive score in NEET over will be given preference over those who obtained a non-zero score in CET.

NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and eligible Foreign National Candidature is also accepted. The academic criteria for these applicants are the same as #1 along with any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act
