Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Chennai Balvatika Classes 2022 admissions age criteria

Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Chennai is a reputed educational institution of higher learning. The CBSE-affiliated school with classes from Std. 1 to Std. 12 with students having the option to select either the commerce or the science stream at the higher secondary level. Admissions for Balvatika classes for pre-primary, LKG, and UKG for the academic session 2022-23 are ongoing up to 10th October 2022. Parents are required to register in the offline mode only, at the school.

Eligibility requirements

The student should fulfill the age eligibility criterion as of 31st March 2022 as given below-

For Balvatika I (Pre-Primary): Age 3 years, but not completed 4 years.

For Balvatika II (Lower KG): Age 4 years, but not completed 5 years.

For Balvatika III (Upper KG): Age 5 years, but not completed 6 years. 

Fee Structure

The fee structure is as per KVS norms for the specific class. Parents are required to pay a fee of Rs.1500/- per quarter. Details of the fee structure are available under the 'Academics' Tab on the school website.

Registration procedure 

Application forms are available at the school office and online at the official website of the school. The duly filled-in form should be submitted offline at the school only. Reservation under the RTE Act is applicable only at the entry-level, that is, for admission to Balvatika I. The provision for admission for a single girl child category is not applicable.

Registration Dates: 28th September 2022 up to 10th October 2022.

Registration Times: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (on all working days)
