Maharashtra Govt Environment and Climate Change Internship Program with stipend 2022-23
The Environment and Climate Change Department, Government of Maharashtra has announced an internship program for students. 20 students will be selected from the applicants to work in different units of the Department, thereby getting an opportunity to learn about government projects related to various environmental fields, such as the conservation of water, management of waste, renewable energy, etc.
Overview of the Internship program
The internship program is a short-term one of six months, but those students who perform the best may get an extension for a further period of five months. On completing the 11 months, then there will be no further extension. The monthly stipend during the internship is Rs. 15,000/-.
Students will have to work in one of the offices of the Department in Mumbai, Maharashtra, the specific location to be assigned as per requirements. Students will not get any travel allowance to go to the office.
Eligibility requirements
1. Age criterion: You should not be over 28 years of age as of 31st October 2022.
2. Educational Qualification: You should be a Graduate, with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam, from any recognized university or educational institution in India or abroad in any of the below-mentioned disciplines
