Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture Mumbai Institute Leval Seats admissions 2023

Rachana Sansad's Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, Maharashtra invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to institute-level seats for the first year of the 5-year full-time B. Arch. Degree Course. The Govt.-recognized Academy of Architecture is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, and approved by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi. The B.Arch. course is an unaided, self-financed course with a total of 40 seats. There are four institute-level seats available for admission to the B. Arch. course.

B. Arch. Course Components

The curriculum of the B.Arch. course is based on the prescribed syllabus of the University of Mumbai, and includes the following-

  • Architectural Design
  • Allied Design
  • Architectural Building Construction and Material
  • Architectural Building Services
  • Architectural Representation and Documentation
  • Humanities
  • Environmental Studies
  • Theory and Design of Structures 
  • Architectural Theory
  • Choice-based Elective Courses 
  • College Projects
  • Mandatory professional training in the eighth semester
Eligibility criteria: As per the admission regulatory authority, Govt. of Maharashtra.

Educational Qualification- Passed the Class 12th exam (10+2 scheme) with Physics, Chemistry, and Math subjects or passed the 10+3 Diploma exam with Maths. Students who have qualified for the Aptitude Test (NATA or JEE), with a pass percentage in the Class 12 exam with PCM, or passed in the 10+3 Diploma exam with Mathematics are also eligible for the course. 

Evaluation system: In the 6th and 10th semesters, you have to appear for exams that are conducted by the University of Mumbai, while in the other semesters, the evaluation is done by the college on behalf of the University.

How to apply for B. Arch. Institute Level Seats

The application form will be available at the campus from 11th September to 16th September 2023 from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Cost of the application form: Rs. 5,000/- (this is not refundable).
