NVS Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class VI 2025 Admissions - Last Date for Online Applications Extended

In July, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) announced the schedule for admission to Class VI in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the upcoming academic session of 2025-2026. Admission is given on a meritorious basis as per the scores in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) and the student will be admitted to the JNV located in the district where he/she is a resident and studying in Class V during 2024-25. As per a recent notification, the last date to submit applications has been extended further from 23rd September 2024 to 7th October 2024.

An important criterion is the age. The student seeking admission to Class VI in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the upcoming academic session of 2025-2026 must not have been born before 1st May 2013 and after 31st July 2015 (both dates are inclusive). 

About the JNVST

The 2-hour rest has 80 objective-type questions across three sections- a Mental Ability Test with 40 questions, an Arithmetic Test with 20 questions, and a Language Test with 20 questions.

The JNVST is scheduled for 12th April 2025 at 11.30 a.m. in some States, and 18th January 2025 at 11.30 a.m. in other States (refer to the official prospectus to know details.)

There is no registration fee. Relevant scanned documents, such as photos, signatures, certificates, etc should uploaded.
