Sun Pharma Science Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship 2025
Three Fellowships are offered - Basic Research in Medical Sciences, Clinical Research in Medical Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Each fellowship carries a trophy, citation and a cash prize of INR 5,00,000.
Overview
The Sun Pharma Science Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship supports brilliant and upcoming early-career clinicians working in India. The research project proposed to be carried out under this Fellowship should be an independent project and must not be a part of a group or departmental research project. The research should be done on a specific project under the supervision of a researcher from a renowned institution in India.

Duration
The research fellowship will be offered for a total duration of six months, which may be availed of by a selected applicant in one or more (not exceeding three) disjointed periods of time within three years from being awarded.
Fellowship Amount
The selected Fellow will receive-
1. A maximum of INR 9 lakhs as stipend for conducting the approved research project, an amount consistent with the selected Fellow's current salary, should the employer not provide any salary support during the period of internship for conducting research elsewhere
2. A maximum of INR 2 lakhs paid directly as bench fee to the training institution, with the amount decided based on the nature of the proposed project.
Eligibility requirements
You should be an Assistant Professor employed in any medical college in India. Preference will be given to an Assistant Professor who has obtained the first academic appointment within three years prior to the date of announcement of the Fellowship.
