Indian Institute of Packaging Diploma in Packaging through Correspondence 2026-27

The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) has announced admissions open for the Diploma in Packaging through Correspondence for the academic year 2026 - 27. This distance education program is accredited by the Asian Packaging Federation. On completing the course, you will be awarded a certificate titled "Diploma in Packaging". Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to meritorious students based on the scores obtained. All course material, comprising four packaging technology educational volumes, will be sent to you. Applications should be submitted by 31st December 2025.

Learning Modules

1. Introduction to Principles of Packaging and Materials

2. Rigid Packaging Materials and Adhesives

3. Packaging Machinery and Printing

4. Product Packaging

At the end of the course, you have to submit a project on an assigned topic.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Qualification: You should be a Graduate in science, engineering, technology, commerce or Arts from a UGC-recognized University or should have a Diploma from a recognized technical board in engineering /technology.

2. Experience: You should have a minimum of one year of industrial experience in operational areas, such as marketing, quality control, production, and the like.

3. Age: There is no age limit.

Course Fees

The total fee for the course is Rs. 77,000/- + 18% GST as applicable, to be paid in two installments. For overseas participants, the total fee for the course is $1,800, which includes the application cost and taxes. On confirmation of admission, the fee will not be refunded.

Payment mode: Online or Demand Draft in favour of the Indian Institute of Packaging.

After submitting the online application, you have to take a printout, attach all relevant self attested certificates along with the Demand Draf /online proof, and submit by person at the T & E Department, HO Mumbai or at a regional centre or send by postal mail by Registered Post/Speed Post or send by courier to "The Course Coordinator T & E Department E-2, MIDC Area, Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 093".
