Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning 2026 – Post Graduate (JAAP-PG) Programs at Schools of Planning and Architecture

The Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning – Post Graduate (JAAP-PG) is a common admission process for admissions to postgraduate programmes in architecture and planning across the three Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs) at Bhopal, New Delhi, and Vijayawada for the academic session 2026-27.

You can seek admission to the following three Schools of Planning and Architecture through the Joint Admission for Architecture and Planning for Post Graduate Programmes (JAAP PG 2026)-

• School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) New Delhi
• School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal
• School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Vijayawada

Eligibility Requirements

You should have secured at least 55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA in the qualifying exam (50% marks or 5.5 CGPA for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST or PwD).

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected on the basis of-

1. Performance in the qualifying exam

2. Valid GATE/CEED/UGC-NET Score, as applicable

3. Physical interaction

4. Work Experience

JAAP-PG Application Fee

For Indian Nationals: Rs. 3,500/-

For Reserved categories SC, ST, EWS and PwD: Rs. 1,750/-

JAAP-PG Application and Admission Schedule

• Online Applications open on 2nd March 2026
• Payment link opens on 2nd March 2026
• Online Applications close on 22nd March 2026
• The list of eligible applicants for interaction will be displayed on 24th March 2026
• Physical interaction (may include interviews, portfolio assessment, Statement of Purpose) will take place at SPA Delhi from 16th April 2026 to 21st April 2026
• The result announcement/display of the Rank List will be on 28th April 2026
• The seat allotment and various rounds of counseling will be from 28th April 2026 to 23rd May 2026
• A special round of counselling will be from 3rd June 2026 to 10th July 2026
• Information regarding Spot Round of Counselling (if any) will be displayed on 20th July 2026
• The physical verification of documents will be done in person at the allotted institution and classes will start as per the dates displayed by the respective institutes on their website
