MSME Chennai online Basic Certificate Course in Labour Law June-July 2021

MSME Technology Development Centre (MSME - DI) Chennai offers consultancy and support services for MSMEs as well as schedules training programs in technical, financial and managerial aspects for Micro, Small & Medium entrepreneurs. MSME - DI Chennai has scheduled an online training Government-certified program of a Basic Certificate Course in Labour Law thrice a week in evening sessions only, with the sessions thrice a week that will be spread out over the current and next month.

About the course

The Basic Certificate Course in Labour Law will be taught by Mr. Israel Inbaraj, Sr. HR Leader, Hon. Faculty, and SME on Labour Laws-CII and NHRD National Board Member. On successful completion of the course, you will receive a Govt. of India Certificate.

Duration: 12 week days.

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Laws relating to social security: EPF, ESI, Maternity, Employee Compensation Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, and Introduction to Code on Social Security 2020.

3. Laws relating to industrial relations: Industrial disputes, Trade Union, Standing Orders Act, and Introduction to Code on Industrial Relations 2020.

4. Laws relating to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS): Factories, Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act, and Introduction to code on OHS 2020.

Outhouse Hindi Film Review

Outhouse directed by Sunil Sukthankar and produced by Mohan Agashe, also playing one of the characters, is a charming film on the generational divide. The film was screened last month at the Third Eye Asian Film Festival in Mumbai and Thane, Maharashtra. On the face of it, Outhouse is about two elders, namely Nana, played by Agashe, and Aadima played by Sharmila Tagore who find themselves in conflict over the rightful owner of her grandson Neel’s pet poodle after it goes missing. But within that story arc, the writer, the late Sumitra Bhave, makes the film a gentle paean on urban loneliness, working women’s struggles, the precocity of children, and the fraught terrain of marriages and peripatetic lives.
